Al Ras Building Material LLC was established in 1988 with its head office located in Dubai, and is an ISO 9001:2008 certified company. The company was co-founded by Mr. Ranjit U. Shewakramani (Managing Director) and Late Mr. Udharam R. Shewakramani. Over the years, the company has transformed itself into a truly 21st century firm based on the promise of a new and highly competitive marketplace. Today the company is a leader in the supply of quality structural steel products. For the past two and a half decades we have maintained the highest value and reliability rankings among our customers and are among the most reputable in the supply of structural steel in the UAE & GCC . The company offers a comprehensive product range covering multiple categories in structural steel to a wide spectrum of end-users including sectors such as Oil and Gas, Shipbuilding, Fabrication, and Construction. Al Ras Building Material sources its steel products from various countries, such as Japan, Russia, Ukraine, China, India, Thailand, Malaysia, Spain, and South Korea. We prioritize strict standards of quality in our procurement process.

In order to meet the growing demands of our valued customers in a rapidly expanding market, we established in the year 2004 “AL RAS STEEL TRADING FZCO”, located in the South Zone of Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA). A joint office and logistics hub, it boasts 17,000 sq. ft. of covered warehouse area, and a 215,000 sq. ft. open storage yard. These facilities, coupled with the their strategic location, provide an efficient and convenient hub for importing and stocking merchandise, and serving the needs of our clients throughout the region.
